A collection of the fine arts consists of the collection of paintings, plastic arts (sculptures), graphic arts and photographs (nearly 2200 pieces). The collection of pictures contains approximately of 400 paintings from the 16th - 20th centuries. As for the themes concern,  it is the richest in religious motifs and portraits, less represented genres are landscapes and a still life. The sculpture collection consists of artistic and ethnographic parts. Dominant in the artistic part are wooden polychrome sculptures of sacred themes.

From the modern works we must mention the collection of works by William Schiffer, known for his medal creative work. The ethnographic section contains a collection of works of regional folk carvers. The graphics collection consists of graphic works of the 18th and 19th centuries by authors Johann Elias Ridinger, Michael Marieschi, from the Vienna workshop Artaria, cycles of the coronation ceremonies in Bratislava and vistas of Trnava and Bratislava. A bigger part of the collection of photographs consists of views at by Viktor Michalec. The photogaphs caught particularly a tumultuous period of transformation of the town from the mid-20th century.
